Steve Simon came to CBC in 2019, and became a deacon in 2024. Steve routinely reads Scripture during Sunday service and is on the security and facilities teams. Steve, having grown up in a false religion, believed himself to be a Christian from childhood. However, Steve became a true follower of Christ as an adult convert when he realized his self-deceit and his dire need of our Lord and Savior. Romans 7:24-25 "Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!" Steve loves the discipleship, deep biblical teaching, and the fellowship found at CBC.
